Definition of power cord:
Power cords are wires that carry electrical current. Usually, the way of current transmission is the point-to-point transmission. Power cords can be divided into AC power cords and DC power cords according to their uses. Usually, AC power cords pass through high-voltage alternating current wires. Due to the high voltage, such wires require a unified standard to obtain safety certification before they can be officially produced. The DC line basically passes direct current with a lower voltage, so the safety requirements are not as strict as the AC line, but for safety reasons, countries still require unified safety certification.
The selection of power cords is carried out according to some principles. The so-called cannot be out of order, reflection is not fabricated out of thin air, and the same is true for power cords. Relevant requirements such as quality and appearance are also implemented in accordance with the power cord certification regulations. The principles of manufacturing power cords are:
(1) According to the Ministry of Electric Power System Design Technical Regulations SDJ161-85
The requirements for the selection of the cross-section of the power transmission conductors are to select the conductor cross-sections of the DC power transmission lines;
(2) "Technical Regulations for Design of 110~500kV Overhead Transmission Lines" DL/T5092-1999;
(3) "Technical Guidelines for High Voltage DC Overhead Transmission Lines" DL436-2005.
